Servicing and repairs
Servicing, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs for all makes and models. We tell you what's wrong and what it will cost before any work starts.
What we work on
- Interim service
- Oil and filter change with a safety check-over, usually every six months or 6,000 miles.
- Full service
- The yearly or 12,000-mile service: filters, fluids, brakes, steering and suspension checked, and your service history updated.
- Diagnostics
- Warning lights and faults read with diagnostic equipment, then traced to the actual cause.
- Brakes
- Pads, discs, calipers, brake pipes and brake fluid changes.
- Clutch and gearbox
- Slipping, juddering or heavy clutches, and gearbox faults.
- Suspension and steering
- Knocks, rattles and pulling to one side: shock absorbers, springs, bushes and track rod ends.
- Timing belts
- Cambelt and water pump replacement at the interval your manufacturer sets.
- Engine repairs
- Oil leaks, overheating, head gaskets and engine management faults.
- Exhausts
- Blowing or rattling exhausts, mountings and catalytic converters.
- Electrical work
- Batteries, starter motors, alternators, lights and wiring faults, traced and repaired.
New car still under warranty?
You don't have to go back to the dealer. You can have a new car serviced at an independent garage without affecting the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the service follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality.
Bring your service book and we'll follow the schedule for your car.
Something doesn't sound right?
Knocks, squeals, smells and warning lights all point to something. Call and describe what you're hearing or seeing, and we'll tell you what we think it is and when we can look at it.
